Within a short drive of the house there are many
activities that you can participate in if you want to.
Apart from the normal holiday pastimes of going to the
beach finding a good restaurant or two we can give you
info on anything that you’re really interested in.
There are riding stables nearby and the tracks used for
the rides lead though unspoilt countryside without a
road in sight.
If you’re into off road biking, there is a centre nearby
equipped with Husaberg trail bikes, and that’s another
way to see the interior of the Algarve.
We run a high speed RIB out into the Atlantic to look
for dolphins and whales, and we also go along the coast
past Sagres to have a look at Cape St Vincent, Europe’s
most south westerly point.

The Algarve is a big sailing centre, and there are many
boats to hire. With the predominantly northerly winds in
the summer the sea is flat and ideal for those who might
be apprehensive about sea sickness!
Down by that same windy cape there is a Blo Kart centre
where you can race a circuit in a sand yacht.
Around Ponte da Piedade - Piety Point - in Lagos the
cliffs are honeycombed with caves and grottoes. They can
be explored in a normal boat, or you can get a whole
different take on them by using a sea kayak.
The microlight centre in Lagos runs trips along the
coast too to get a bird’s eye view of the area.
Golf courses and tennis courts are to be found all over
the place and there is no shortage of surf schools,
diving centres and watersports.
The only limit is your budget and your imagination!
